Megan S. Acosta, Esq.
Megan S. Acosta, Esq., is a Certified Legal Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law with the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and advises wealthy individuals, families, closely held businesses, charities and corporate fiduciaries on all aspects of estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, trust and estate administration, business succession and charitable planning and governance. Prior to opening her firm, Megan practiced estate planning at two leading international law firms.

Nathalie Shiell
Paralegal
Nathalie has worked in law firms for almost 20 years, primarily specializing in estate planning and trust administration. Working for mostly boutique firms has allowed her to learn all aspects of law firm management from administrative tasks, such as bookkeeping, billing and compliance, to client relations. However, her substantive knowledge of the law and desire to deliver legal excellence are what set her apart. Nathalie enjoys serving our diverse high net worth clients by assisting our attorneys in the preparation of various estate planning documents, probate matters and federal estate and gift tax return filings. Nathalie is also a Notary Public.
Nathalie lives with her husband Adam. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses and spends her summers camping and exploring the outdoors for the best swimming holes with her nephews.
Kaylen Steele
Executive Assistant
Kaylen holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor’s degree in social work.
Prior to joining Acosta, Kaylen ran the operations and staffing for a law firm with seven offices. Prior to law, Kaylen worked with accounting firm managing partners, coordinated training programs, and managed a customer service team.
Whether for accountants or attorneys, clients or colleagues, Kaylen’s joy is helping people. She is honored for the opportunity to support Megan and her clients and aims to make each process a little smoother and each person’s day a little brighter.
Kaylen lives with her husband and stepdaughter in Orange County. In her free time, she is involved with her local church and serves as a board member for HOPE International.
